Cody is the New Commander of the 1st Light Infantry Brigade of the New Mexico State Defense Force. 1st Light Infantry Brigade is based in out of the New Mexico National Guard Armory at 600 Wyoming Blvd in Albuquerque. BG Cody is retired from the U.S. Army, and his last assignment was Director of Logistics, Field Command, Defense Nuclear Agency at Kirkland Air Force Base.
